Position Purpose

Front officer in charge of arranging Japanese Operating Lease (“JOL”) primarily for aviation as well as for shipping assets throughout the transaction life with particular emphasis on origination and execution work stream of term sheet, cashflow, documentation and closing funds flow, and post-closing matters as well whenever relevant.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities to include;

  • Day to day interactions with relevant RMs of shipping and aviation in each region of Asia, EMEA, and Americas for any matter from origination up to execution/post closing,
  • Help maintaining and enhancing relationships with Japanese equity partners for the purpose of timely securing the competitive and suitable JOL equity in terms of pricing and volume,
  • Build and Manage cashflows throughout the process from origination to closing and post closing,
  • Manage post origination matters including negotiations with transaction parties (such as airlines, shipping companies, equity partners, relevant legal counsel etc) and act as Arranger for term sheet, documentation, managing closing funds flow as well as post closing matters,

  • Fluency in English/Japanese is a must

  • Professional experience in shipping and aviation finance is a plus
