BNP Paribas – Official Partner of the 2nd Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault, Supporting Junior Tennis Development Across Asia

BNP Paribas is pleased to confirm its role as an official partner of the second edition of the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault in Asia. Together with our partners, we are working to expand the culture of the Roland Garros’ iconic red‑clay surface across Asia and to create a clear pathway for the region’s most promising young players to reach the international stage.

The tournament returns to Tokyo in 2025, and BNP Paribas will continue to support to reinforce our long‑standing commitment to junior tennis development.

BNP Paribas has a long‑standing relationship with Roland Garros, dating back to our funding for the construction of the boxes on the central court at Roland-Garros. This history of collaboration underpins our continued commitment to the tournament.

BNP Paribas will keep fostering a vibrant tennis culture and providing the next generation of stars with the resources they need to succeed on the world stage.

BNP Paribas Initiatives in Japan

  • Team BNP Paribas Young Talents Japan with JTA – launched in 2023 in partnership with the Japan Tennis Association (JTA). The programme supports four Japanese juniors with a comprehensive development plan covering physical conditioning, mental strength and tournament preparation.
  • 2024 Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault – the Team Young Talents took part in a tennis clinic with the ambassador, Kei Nishikori, receiving direct coaching and inspiration.

This year the Team Young Talents will be taken care by the current tournament ambassador Justine Henin, the Belgium legendary player, the previous World No.1 who won 4 times Roland-Garros.

Tournament Highlight

  • Monday 13 Oct –“Tennis Biyori” – Exhibition Match
  • Tuesday 14 Oct – Coaching session and workshop led by the tournament ambassador, followed by the official opening ceremony
  • Wednesday 15 Oct – Friday 17 Oct – Round‑robin group stage
  • Saturday 18 Oct – Semifinals (group‑winners)
  • Sunday 19 Oct – Final match; a third‑place playoff will also be contested among the semifinal losers
